Ice cream was a big part of my childhood and part of my adulthood for that matter. My family will get it on summer vacations and whenever I’m visiting I’ll go to the local Ice cream shop. When I was in middle school I would meet my friend there and get some ice cream before we went on some other adventure. I have a lot of wonderful memories around ice cream, so thought it would be wise to share my love in poem form.
Summer days with their warm breezes brings to me sweet memories of delicous, wonderful ice cream. When the air is hot, when the air is cold, I partake in the loving treat. The taste of sugary cream reminds me of wonderful days carefree and filled with love. Whether bought on the side of the street or made with love and our own hands smiles would blossom and bloom. Joy and happiness always will come around When the smell of ice cream is in the air.
