Painting is an art form that I love to focus and I’m constantly working on improving my skills. Here are some of my favorite paintings.
My Standard Acrylic Paintings
Tile: Sunflowers Size: 24"x 36" Medium:Â acrylic paint on canvas Year: 2023 Reason: This was a commissioned piece for a friend who loves sunflowers.
Tile: Joyce Size: 8"x 10" Medium:Â acrylic paint on canvas Year: 2023 Reason: This was a commissioned piece for a friend.
Tile: Sea's Heart Size: 24"x 36" Medium:Â acrylic paint on canvas Year: 2022 Reason: This started as an abstract piece, but morphed into one of my "Pink and Blue With Hearts all over" series pieces.
Tile:Stormy Heart Size: 20"x 28" Medium:Â acrylic paint on canvas Year: 2022 Reason: I played with textures and glosses with this painting so that there is different depth and finished on the painting.
Title: Flowers and Heart Portrait Size: 8"x 10" Medium: acrylic paint on canvas Year: 2020 Reason: This is the first portrait I painted. Something was missing when I finished it, so I added flowers and heart to represent love and beauty surrounding him.
Title: Plastic Rose Size: 14"x 11" Medium: acrylic paint on canvas Year: 2020 Background: This fun surreal painting that I experimented a bit with. I used watercolors with a sealer to create multiple layers. The final touch was the centerpiece, which of course is the rose.
