I longed for a strong hero,
a beauty to lean on,
a beast to help me on my way,
so exploration was started.
Who could complete me?
Where was he?

Inner findings
led to inner peace
and I found my strong hero,
she was there
inside of me.

Yes, I find my beauty
the more I explore my beast.
Both inside, both me,
and I am complete.

I may not know how
to capture one's heart,
but I can capture their arms
and that's alright with me.
I know I always seem on guard,
unless you are in my guard,
then I am my hero,
and I remember
I already know my way
and I am the only version of me.

Yes, I find my beauty
the more I explore my beast.
Both inside, both me
and I am complete.

I look to the future
with my dreams pushed back.
What road do I travel;
Where does it lead?
Will my someday come to play?
Or will another story unravel?
Will my thoughts stay a thought
Will my life be normal?

Please, let the mediocrity subside
For I dream of being extraordinary
Let me be amazed with how far I travel.
Let this road lead me to a life worth dreaming of.

If nothing else I hope this road leads
to a dance with my mate
to a life lived 
and ends with an extraordinary story to tell.

In late January 2021, I published my poetry book Garden of Poems. It is filled with poetry from 2013-2020. Pen Poem is one of the excerpts from the book.

Pierce me with your
ink filled sword,
force your words to linger
as they twist inside,
because murder is never sweet,
unless it's in the mind
causing a new reality to live.
So murder my mind
with words of wonder.
Let the sharp bladed images
of your prose or verse
slice out the mundane,
so that I may live among your ink
until the new understandings take hold
and I am reborn with new light  
into a new life.

Tick tock goes the clock
as the waves rolls in
time may fly
or time may stop
the waves crashes on the shore either way.

Tick tock goes the clock
as the sun shines on
time may fly
or time may stop
the sun will heat the sand either way.

Tick tock goes the clock
it's far far away
time may fly
or time may stop
we won't pay attention either way.

Coming Soon! A New Poetry Book

My next book is coming out soon. It is my next poetry book and it’s called “Garden Of Poems.”

It should be out early in February as long as everything goes as planned so when I say coming soon I mean it. The proof is on its way to me and I should be able to give the okay on everything as soon as I review that.

“Garden Of Poems” is a 40 poem book of poetry from 2013 to late 2020. A lot are unpublished and the few that have been posted to my site have been heavily edited. I am so excited about this book. I cannot wait for you to read it.
